How did you start in the music business? Through a friend of my older brother. He had a studio and invited me to chill out, and that's when I got touched by the art of performing.
What are your aspirations as a recording artist? To totally commit myself to music and being successful in it.

What do you want people to know about you and why? I'm from The Netherlands, some of you might know as Amsterdam, but I represent Maarssen.
What have you accomplished as an artist? I have my own recording studio, my own production. I am artistically completely independent.
What inspires you? My goals, the love of music, my crew and the crippled section of the hip hop industry.
What is the difference between you and the next recording artist? I am a one man band. I do everything myself. Therefore, when you hear my music, you hear and feel me.
What is your album about? The Warning EP is an introduction of my versatility in rapping and producing. All tracks are different, but are still me.
What is your stage name and why? Tha Rookie. First time I collaborated was 2 wks after I started rapping. My co-MC was in the game for 2 years. That's how I choose the name Tha Rookie. I never changed it since. You see many MC's who have a history of changing their names many times before taking a final one. Not me.

When did you start Rapping Singing or Producing? I started rapping around '93 & around '94 is when I got introduced to producing.

Who in the industry inspires you? That's a tough question. I respect everyone doing their thing; however it is the old school cats that really inspire me.

Why do you want to be in the music industry? Music is my passion and I feel I can touch and inspire people with my music. Plus I love performing.
Why should people buy your music? Because I feel I am an addition to the music industry and for the listeners. My tracks can lift you up or make you face reality.
